This practice will guide students to explore their favorite yoga poses in new ways using light weights (3-10 lbs dumbells or pilates balls). In some cases, you are simply holding the weight to add load or challenge to the experience of the shape. In other instances, you may be guided to sustain warrior 2 while doing a few overhead presses, for example. There is both dynamic and static movement. The goal is to enjoy a new way of practice and to gain strength and mobility with the addition of light weights.

This practice can also be done without weights, and are appropriate for all levels. Each practice includes breath awareness, warm-up exercises, movement, cool-down stretches and relaxation.
